Following the merger of Datum and TrueTime with Symmetricom, we evaluated all of our frequency, timing and synchronization products. We asked the same two qualifying questions about each one: what business need was it designed for and does it solve that need better than any other product on the market and is there a critical customer need or program for which they were counting on Symmetricom. For the product to stay on our shelves, the answer to the first question had to be clear and obvious, and the answer to the second was discussed at length with our key customers and their input was critical to our decisions.
Today Symmetricom serves a wide variety of domestic and international markets including, aerospace/defense, government communications, metrology and test & measurement, ruggedized solutions for space and aircraft, enterprise and industrial applications. Understanding that each business within these markets has unique needs, we have worked to establish processes, people and systems that are organized to address their specific requirements.
To support this, we have aligned our Timing, Test and Measurement product lines to meet our customer’s objectives in three focused areas:
Time & Frequency Solutions, which includes GPS instrumentation, bus level cards and precise frequency references (atomic standards)
IP Network Timing Products for Enterprise markets
Space, Defense and Avionics (SDA) markets for high reliability components and systems
This website supports these objectives and is designed to provide our customers with a comprehensive guide to our complete Timing, Test & Measurement solution offerings. Every product feature on this website is backed by a knowledgeable Customer Service department, made up of a group of seasoned individuals that are well versed in the products they service and the industries they support.
