Advanced Timing Solutions Time Code Translator (TCT) Get A Quote Data Sheets Time Code Translator Data Sheet WEEE/RoHS WEEE/RoHS Initiatives Service Plans TTM Product Service Plans Glossary Glossary of Terms The Advanced Timing Solutions Time Code Translator (TCT), is a 1U 19-inch rack-mount instrument that receives the fiberoptic timing signal from the UTCG or FEC, then constructs and synchronizes the output signals. The customer can configure every TCT with up to four time and frequency output plug-in function modules. Users can advance the TCT time to compensate for fiberoptic path delays from the UTCG. The TCT includes a front-panel time display and alarm indicators for ease of monitoring. If a fault interrupts the timing signal from the UTCG, then an internal oscillator continues to maintain all output signals. When the signal returns, the TCT automatically resynchronizes itself to match the timing signal from the UTCG.
